Bearings are the parts of the supporting shaft. According to the friction properties of their work, bearings can be divided into sliding friction bearings (hereinafter referred to as sliding bearings) and rolling friction bearings (hereinafter referred to as rolling bearings). Each type of bearing can be divided into centripetal bearing, thrust bearing and centripetal thrust bearing according to different load directions.
The sliding bearing works stably, with lower noise than the rolling bearing and reliable operation. If the sliding surface can be separated by the lubricating oil film without contact, the friction loss and surface wear can be greatly reduced. However, the starting friction resistance of ordinary sliding bearing is large.
