For fixed side NTN bearing, it is necessary to select the bearing with available rolling surface moving axially (such as cylindrical roller bearing) or with assembly surface moving (such as centripetal ball bearing). On a relatively short shaft, if there is no difference between the fixed side and the free side, use a bearing (such as plane thrust bearing) that only fixes the axial movement in one direction.
