Needle roller bearings are a kind of roller bearings. Although sometimes the roller size slightly exceeds the needle size range defined by JIS, they are usually called needle roller bearings.
Needle roller bearings can be divided into radial bearings and thrust bearings according to the direction of the load. Among them, radial bearings include: various series of stamped outer ring type, solid type, as well as special purpose bolt type and retaining ring type roller needle roller bearings.

1.Needle roller and cage assembly

The needle roller and cage assembly are easy to install and use, and the combined needle roller will not fall off. Although the design space occupied is small, it has a large bearing capacity. Due to the unique structure of the cage, it can accurately guide the needle rollers, and the lubrication is ideal, so it can be used at high speeds. The needle roller bus bar has convexity, which can alleviate the stress concentration at the needle roller end caused by minor installation errors and shaft deformation, and prolong the service life of the bearing.

2.Drawn cup needle roller bearings

Drawn cup needle roller bearings (with cage and full complement needle roller bearings) have a unique outer ring structure and are a type of rolling bearing with many specialties. These specialties include: the thinnest outer ring wall thickness and large load capacity.
It is made of strictly selected special alloy steel plate, which has a high ultimate load; the cage is surface-hardened, which has strong wear resistance; the limiting speed is high, and the installation is convenient.

3.Solid needle roller bearings

Solid needle roller bearings have high precision, occupy less design space, and have strong load-bearing capacity. Its application is very wide.
The ferrule is made of carefully selected vacuum degassed bearing steel or carburized steel, and after heat treatment, it is finely ground. A number of high-precision needle rollers with a certain degree of convexity are installed in the outer ring with firm double ribs. The cage is light in weight and extremely tough, and can guide large-diameter needle rollers accurately and smoothly.

4.Thrust bearings

Thrust needle roller bearings are available in metric and inch sizes.
The cage in the thrust needle roller and cage assembly is made of two semi-cage interlocking, precision stamping processing of steel plate and surface hardening treatment. High-precision needle rollers are assembled into the cage to make it have high strength and wear resistance.
The needle rollers are completely held by the cage, which can withstand larger axial loads while rotating smoothly. Moreover, the assembly space is small, and it is easy to replace the original thrust washer (general term for shaft washer and seat ring, the same below).
The needle roller and cage assembly is equipped with several pieces of thrust washers with different thicknesses, so the thrust washers with the best thickness can be selected according to the assembly conditions around the bearing.

5.Bolt type roller needle roller bearings

Bolt type roller needle roller bearing, outer ring wall thickness, needle roller bus bar with convexity, the raceway surface of the stud bolt is hardened,has a certain degree of toughness, can withstand impact load.

6.Circlip type needle roller bearings

Circlip type roller needle roller bearing, outer ring wall thickness, needle roller bus bar with convexity, high load capacity, can withstand impact load. This type of bearing is non-separable, easy to use, and widely used in rollers, cams, rocker arms, etc.

7.Drawn cup needle roller clutch bearings

With a unique stamped outer ring structure, it is a very compact one-way clutch bearing. It has the characteristics of light weight, small section size and large torque capacity. This type of bearing has precise action, small friction torque when overtaking, and easy installation. In addition, there are FCP/FCU series products used in plastic bearing housings.
