Thrust roller bearings include products using cylindrical rollers and products using spherical rollers. Although this type of bearing can only bear axial load, it has the characteristics of being suitable for bearing heavy loads and high shaft rigidity.
Among them, the thrust spherical roller bearing has a bulge in the middle of the roller and has a centering function. Therefore, this kind of bearing is not affected by installation errors and shaft deflection.
The standard configuration of the cage is a machined brass product; the E-type product uses a stamping processing cage, which has the characteristics of large load capacity.
Thrust bearings using spherical rollers are self-aligning. Not affected by installation errors and shaft deflection. In addition to the traditional type, there is an E type with a high-load design and a stamped cage. (Nominal name is marked with E at the end of the code).
For horizontal shafts and high-speed rotation, bearings with copper alloy car-made cages are recommended. Please contact NSK for details.
There are many parts that are not easy to be lubricated by lubricant, such as the sliding contact surface between the roller head and the inner ring rib, and between the cage and the guide sleeve.
Therefore, oil lubrication is used even in low-speed rotation. The traditional cage is a copper alloy car cage.
